Father’s Office Chef Sang Yoon Debuts Tiny’s Burger at South Coast Plaza

06.12.26

Chef Sang Yoon, chef and proprietor of the celebrated Father's Office gastropubs in Los Angeles, is bringing his most anticipated new concept to Orange County, and South Coast Plaza lands the debut. Tiny's Burger opens this Monday, June 15.

The concept lives on Level 1 near Carousel Court and brings together an Americana burger stand and a konbini-style snack shop under one roof. The name is a tribute to Yoon's late Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, a famously opinionated dog whose uncompromising personality apparently shaped the whole venture. The space leans into a playful outdoor feel brought indoors, nodding to the classic American burger stand while leaning global with its snack shop component.

The menu is a collaboration between Yoon and Chef Nanor Harboyan (Helms Bakery, Destroyer), and it does not play it safe. The signature burger is a 4 oz. dry-aged beef patty dressed with Tiny's sauce, a blend of gochujang, ssamjang, ketchup and mustard. The Tokyo Dog is a 10-inch Nathan's all-beef hot dog topped with bonito flakes, furikake, kewpie mayo and sweet soy. Other standouts include Miso Mac n Cheese with American and sharp cheddar cheeses plus white and red miso, an All Beef Chili finished with Chinese chili crisp, Salt and Vinegar Tots and Pineapple Dole Whip.

The konbini shop carries house-made grab-and-go sandos and salads alongside snacks and drinks sourced from around the world.

Tiny's Burger is open seven days a week. Hours are Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. South Coast Plaza, 3333 Bristol St., No. 1000, Costa Mesa.
